The only thing the Axim broke new ground with is the price. Lets's face Dell is not exactly a leader in revelutionary products. They're only good at bring current technologies to the mass at low prices. Dell's like the Techno-Walmart

That's what sold me on it - bang for the buck, as they say...

Still don't have a keyboard for it, mostly b/c I can write fast with Block Writer.

I'm trying to adapt to Fitaly, but it's taking longer than I expected... I guess I haven't gotten enough practice. But wow... Block writer.. I thought no one used that. Then again, you don't usually make mistakes using it.

I looked at the info on PocketNow, and it does seem PPC 2003 with be worth it's wait. I've waited this loing with 32 mb's of ram. I don't even activate reader I'm so frugal with ram). I can wait a few more weeks...

Even my maestro will probably support the upgrade to 2003, it's unlikely that's keeping me away from a new PPC though Very Happy

AND, now I remember a big reason why I didn't upgrade to the Axim: SDIO support.

Elad,

Didn't realize you left the site. Honestly, I don't read pn that often...mostly it's pocketpcthoughts then others if I have the time. But, the indepth reviews on pn are great! So, mainly news at ppct and reviews at pn and others.

By the way, I have a Jornada 568 as well, plus assorted other devices (one old Palm, a CE 1 and CE 2 device)

I left ages ago, it's all good. PPCthoughts is usually the one main site I check now, just for a brief glance at what's new and hot on the market.

I love it though. I've played some really good games for it. I reccomend space trader, drug war (so much fun), and medicCopter or somthing.

My backlight is dying on me though. It emits this high pitched whine...
Extremely annoying.
